Posted: September 23, 2023: UEA is taking stock of members skills and talents in the field of monitoring, evaluation, research and learning with a view of participating in international and national evaluation work, in particular the $60m MERL/SI USAID solicitation. In an effort to get prepared and organized for the work resulting from this solicitation, UEA is planning to create a Localization Hub. The Hub would be a place where UEA members can participate in learning activities, organize events to promote Ugandan MERL capacity and collaborate on proposals.
A secondary purpose of this survey is to generate a database of relevant M&E skills and talents in areas of designing evaluations, data management; methodology, sampling, coding, cleaning, analysis, report writing, editing, infographics, presentation, dissemination, among many others. We believe that MERL is only part of the value that UEA members can offer, for example, Political Economy Analysis, Local Systems Mapping, Polling, SMS based surveys, etc. As MANY of us have created our own surveys, pleading with recipients to make time so that we get thoughtful answers, we ask you to please spare the time to fill out the survey not later than 25th September 2023.
