Bio of the presenter - Stephen Mutinyu
Stephen Mutinyu is a Research, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist working with Wanah Consults. He is a researcher with 14 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluating health interventions and programs.
Mutinyu has taught research methods and data analysis courses at a number of institutions including; UTAMU, Metropolitan International University and Makerere Training Consultants. He has interests in sexual and reproductive health, and organizational Monitoring and Evaluation Capacity. Mutinyu has presented his research findings at a number of International Conferences including the Africa Health International Conference in Kigali, Rwanda.
He formerly worked with Vinacef Uganda as an M&E Coordinator. Before joining Vinacef, Mutinyu worked with Amref Health Africa and was supporting the Sexual Reproductive and Health Rights (SRHR) Project in Amuru District. Prior joining Amref, he was the M&E Officer for the Adolescent SRHR Project at Better Health Action Group.
Mutinyu holds a Master’s Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, a Post Graduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation both from the Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU), and a Bachelor’s Degree in the Social Sciences from Makerere University. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Health from Nexus International University.
