WEBINAR: Critical report writing skills for Monitoring and Evaluation professional
Posted: August 8, 2022: To happen on 19th August 2022. Good report writing is one of the most essential parts of any M&E system to any organization. The quality of a report determines the perception it's audience will have and the actions they will take thereafter. As M&E professionals, report writing is one of our core roles, for it guides decision making at both day to day and strategic level. Unfortunately there is a gap in report writing as some M&E professionals fail to clearly spell out critical elements in a report this leaving the audience not interested and reports not used for further action.

The goal of the webinar is to understand how an M&E practitioner plan, structure, write, edit and publish a professional and ethical report about a project, program or research agenda. At the end of the training, participants will have understanding and knowledge about;

1. What a report is?
2. Types & purpose of report writing.
3. Structure of a formal report.
4. A covering letter vs a memorandum.
5. Writing a report.
6. Editing your report
7. Meaning and purpose of a writeshop
8. Critical tips to write a quality report
