Solid Waste Management and Disaster Risk Reduction: A Conceptual Framework by Anna Elsie Luyiggo

An experienced professional specializing in monitoring and evaluation, research, project management, and business development. She is currently an evaluator and independent researcher, with studies ranging from disability inclusion, youth empowerment, community livelihoods, and child marriages to female genital mutilation (FGM). With an extensive background in academia and private practice, Anna has demonstrated expertise in leadership, capacity building, stakeholder engagement, and strategic management. She supervises Master’s students’ dissertations and serves as an internal examiner for dissertations at Uganda Technology and Management University. Anna is the author of several publications on leadership styles, participatory approaches, stakeholder management, and organizational sustainability. She has successfully written various business projects for  firms in Uganda and South Sudan, securing grants totaling over $7 million. Anna holds several postgraduate qualifications in monitoring and evaluation, project planning and management, and business administration and is currently pursuing a PhD in Strategic Leadership and Administrative Studies at Marywood University.
