AfrEA President, Ms Rosetti Nabumba leading first session

We are delighted to inform you that Mrs. Rosetti Nabbumba Nayenga, was elected President of African Evaluation Association (AfrEA) during the 9th AfrEA Conference held from 11th – 15thMarch 2019, in Abidjan, Ivory Coast .

AfrEA brings together evaluators in Africa with an aim to build the culture and capacity in monitoring and evaluation in countries as a means of enhancing development outcomes.

It is the umbrella body for National Evaluation Associations in Africa (VOPEs). The Uganda Evaluation Association (UEA) is a national Chapter of AfrEA. The appointment is for two years and took immediate effect.

Rosetti is the first East African to hold this position since AfrEA was established in 1999. She is the Immediate past President of Uganda Evaluation Association, Deputy Head of the Budget Monitoring and Accountability Unit, Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development (MFPED),  and Governor Designate of the Rotary District 9211 (Uganda and Tanzania).
