Virtual Evaluation (VE) Experiences in Sub-Saharan Africa by Dr. Julian K. Bagyendera, PhD

Executive Director of Provide and Equip (P&E) Ltd, an M&E/Management Consultancy firm based in Uganda. She is a Project Management, M&E and Gender Specialist with over 28 years of work experience in HIV/AIDS, population, gender mainstreaming, reproductive health, human rights, socio-economic development, advocacy, education, capacity building and community development. She has served as a team leader on over 75 international and national assignments. She previously worked as a Chief of Party, M&E Program Director, Senior M&E Technical Advisor, M&E Coordinator, and M&E Manager. Dr. Bagyendera has worked for the  World Bank, most UN agencies, AFDB, WHO, EU, USAID, AFDB/ACCF, NGOs and MDAs. She has worked in Uganda, South Africa, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, China, Ethiopia, Liberia, Malawi, Côte d’Ivoire, U.S.A, Thailand, Netherlands and Canada. She holds a PhD in Project Management; a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences.
