The UEA is implementing a mentoring programme for the Burundi Evaluation Association (RNEB) during October 2016. This is one of the two pilot peer-to-peer mentoring programmes in Africa that are sponsored by the African Evaluation Association (AFREA)/USAID/QED. The other peer programme is between Ghana and Zimbabwe Evaluation Association. If these pilots are successful, we shall see more projects where many of you will be actively engaged in and outside the country.
The first phase was implemented in Week1 of October 2016 with the UEA team mentoring the RNEB team in Burundi. Please click here to download the summary report of the event.
The second phase shall be implemented next week with the Burundi team visiting several UEA members and stakeholders as per the attached programme. All arrangements have been finalized to receive the delegation and they will be residing at Grand Imperial Hotel.
We invite you to interact with the Burundi team on Thursday 27th October 2016 at the Kampala Evaluation Talk that will be held at UCU Campus on Lubiri Ring Road, Rubaga Division in Room 10 starting at 2.00p.m. The campus is near Rubaga Division Office and City Parents primary School, and was the former JCRC clinic. For any questions, kindly get in touch with the General Secretary Mrs. Joy Asiimwe on firstname.lastname@example.org and Administrator Mr. Darlington Senoga on 0774114555/ email@example.com.

N.B. We still invite you to volunteer to the UEA Think Tank for writing proposals and bids for M&E project grants. This is a good opportunity to build professional capacity. Currently, we have a team lead by the General Secretary and other UEA members packaging a proposal for mentoring the Tanzania Evaluation Association under the EvalPartners/AFREA Window.
